This sale is for 1 x 27.5' MegaMast Carbon Fiber Camera Stand (Model SA1240) and includes a MegaMast Stabilization Spreader Kit . This is one of the tallest and lightest "sky high" camera stands made, and we're including a MegaMast "Spreader Kit" to secure it during more windy conditions. At the heights this MegaMast reaches, "drone look" shots can be obtained that are often not possible using other technologies. This camera stand has been used only a couple times, and is in MINT condition! Able to extend to 27.5' and hold up to 6 lb, this stand will provide unique aerial views while you remain on solid ground. Made with 7 carbon fiber risers and aluminum legs, the stand folds down to 64.25" and has a minimum working height of 64.5" Each section has a latch that closes downward to secure the pole to the desired height. These latches can be re-tightened (if necessary). Additionally, a tilting head is mounted to the top of the stand to allow you to adjust the angle, and a quick-release plate, which has a 1/4"-20 thread, allows for fast camera attachment and detachment. This sale also includes 1x SA Stabilization Spreader Kit for the MegaMast which helps keep the camera stand steady in breezy to moderate windy conditions. Similar to the way a sailboat mast is stabilized, the 3 ropes attach to a plate at the top of the stand and are then threaded through the spreader which is located mid-MegaMast. Finally the ropes are attached to the legs at the bottom and are tightened with the rope's ratcheting pulleys. (Spreader Kit is compatible with the 27.5' and the 23' versions of the MegaMast) Helps stabilize the MegaMast in breezy to moderately windy conditions Ratchet pulleys enable quick assembly and tear down without the need for tying knots.
